Join Story Bar at Green Gate Farms for a festive fall celebration, featuring all the ingredients of a proper autumnal story mixer: Ghost Storytelling, Folk Music, Pumpkin Carving, Raffle Prizes, Craft Beers, and more.
All ticket purchases are final. This event is RAIN OR SHINE. In the event of cancellation, guests will be notified and tickets will be refunded. Cancellation will be determined at the sole discretion of Story Bar. Please note this event will be held outdoors and Story Bar does not have control over hot, cold, or inclement weather and that guests should plan accordingly.
MEET THE ARTISTS
Jeremy Boothe & The Wanderers is an Americana outfit from Austin, Texas consisting of Jeremy Boothe (vocals), Dan Bowman (bass), and Jamal Knox (drums).
Mark Gifford teaches writing at UTSA and is the creator of the Hyperliterature website and the Hyperliterature Presents Podcast. Along with Todd Wright, Mark is the co-creator of the audio series “When Wade Tried to Save the World” and the on-going audio series “The Adventures of Heroman.”
Richard Hall is a composer/musician whose music has been performed in over 100 cities throughout the U.S. and over a dozen countries. He currently teaches music composition and music technology at Texas State University. For more info visit: richallmusic.com
Jeff Knight is an Austin storyteller, poet, and songwriter. He’s been published in some literary journals, won some poetry slams, published an ebook (Lunchbox Love Letters, a romantic comedy novella), and told quite a few campfire stories.
Emily Wardell was born and raised in Texas. She received her degree in creative writing from the University of Houston, and has performed in venues throughout the east coast and southwest as a poet and storyteller. After years in arts and environmental education, she returned to Austin with her daughter, where she earns her keep designing and installing native landscapes.
Zeb L. West is a puppeteer, writer, and performer living in Berkeley, CA. He is a longtime collaborator with of Austin’s Trouble Puppet and Brooklyn’s Alphabet Arts. He graduated from The Dell’Arte School of Physical Theater, where he studied Commedia Dell’Arte, Clown, Maskmaking, Tango, and Corporeal Mime. He recently toured all across Canada with his one-man show Innocent When You Dream, about a man trapped in a whale.
Todd Wright teaches writing for UTSA. He publishes fiction sporadically. His best work is the stuff he’s done with Mark Gifford. Read his stuff at toddwrightstories.com.
